Käthe Abramowicz lived and worked in Bad Kissingen for only few months. She was born on April 19, 1906, the daughter of the bookseller Heinrich Abramowicz (1871 - 1922) and his wife Rebecka née Schmerl (1877 - 1933) in Posen, western Poland, and grew up with three siblings. Only little is known about her life. She was never married and lived in Berlin/ Mitte later on.

At the beginning of May 1938, she moved to Bad Kissingen and was employed as a kitchen help in Hotel Apolant. In July 1938, she already returned to Berlin and her last address was Köpenicker Strasse 108. From there she was deported to Auschwitz/ Oświęcim extermination camp and murdered there. Exact details concerning her death are not known.

Her younger brother Walter Leopold was also deported to Auschwitz in 1943 and murdered..
