Bertha Dispeker (Dispecker) was born in Bad Kissingen on February 20, 1858 as the daughter of Philip and Mina Freitag, née Sachs.

She married the merchant Simon Dispecker from Fürth and moved to Munich with him in June 1883, where their two children Ernst (*1884) and Lilly (1887-1891) were born. Simon Dispecker died in December 1911. His widowed wife lived in different apartments in Munich till June 1942. Whereas her son Ernst Dispecker obviously succeeded in emigrating to the United States, where he died on March 14, 1950 in New York, his mother was deported to Theresienstadt on June 17, 1942 where she was killed on October 10.
