She married Hermann Bodenheimer in Frankfort, in whose business her younger brother Isidor worked. Between 1902 and 1910, Nanny’s four children were born in Frankfort. Very little is known about her later life. She and her husband succeeded in emigrating to the United States. Before their emigration, they lived in Den Haag/ Netherlands and boarded the ship “Normandie” in Le Havre in March 1939 which took them to New York. All the children could also flee from Germany in time and survived in the United States and Palestine.
