Moses Kurzweil lived with his family in Bad Kissingen for only a few years. He was employed as cantor and shochet of the local Jewish community between 1921 and 1924 and lived with his family in the Jewish Community House (today Promenadestraße 2) during this time. While his three older sons Walter, Isidor and Adolf emigrated to Palestine and survived, Moses Kurzweil, his wife Lina and their youngest son Theo were deported and died in Theresienstadt and Auschwitz.
